Rumor Post is an independent, bilingual digital newspaper: What is going around, with the evidence up front, with the facts up front.
Our mission
There is more news than ever and less time to understand it. Rumor Post exists so that any reader, wherever they live, can know what happened, and why it matters. We publish in English and Spanish because what happens in one country rarely stays within its borders.
What we cover
Every day we follow the front pages of the European press and official sources, and select what deserves telling. Our coverage is organised into these sections:

What you can expect from us
- Checked facts. We verify information across several sources before publishing it.
- Context. Saying what happened is not enough: we explain what led to it and what follows.
- Clear labelling. Every piece is identified as news, analysis or opinion.
- Visible corrections. If we get something wrong, we fix it and say so in the piece itself.
