**What the evidence says:** False. On 5 November 2026 Maldita labels as Falso (False) the claim that a woman was piloting the private plane that crashed in Florida on 1 November. Under that sentence it links three posts on X (@Ac7ionMann, @dammiedammie35 and @philex_otieno) and does not transcribe them; this newsroom has not opened them. BBC Mundo, on 3 November, writes that Jeffrey Gregory, 55, has been identified as the pilot according to East Coast Jets, and that a spokesperson said on Monday 2 November 2026 that Captain Jeff Gregory was among the dead. ABC7, in an Associated Press text of 3 November updated on 4 November, names him as pilot and Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras, 20, as copilot. A copilot does not make the rated sentence true. Maldita writes that on 5 November the investigation into the cause remains open.
