> This outlet documents theories and rumours circulating online. What is described here is not established fact and we do not endorse it: many of these claims are false or lack evidence. Each article states what the evidence says.

**What the evidence says:** False. Maldita.es (5 November 2026, 11:57 mainland Spain time; alternateName False) treats as false the statements attributed to Jesús Owono and writes that FC Andorra told it those posts are not real and that it denies the retirement. It places the last post on Owono's X account on 23 December 2024. Newtral (Sofía Pérez, 4 November 2026, alternateName False) treats the apology statement as false: it comes from an account impersonating the goalkeeper; the card says it asked the club and had no reply, that the account has been inactive since December 2024, and that a later club statement carries other words from the player, which are not copied. FC Andorra's note of 3 November 2026 (publishedAt 15:45:38 UTC) is a club condolence, with no letter, no retirement and no signature from the player. Colgadosporelfutbol shares, in the screenshot Newtral archives on that 4 November, an image presented as a Carta de disculpas.

## Excerpt

On 5 November 2026 Maldita.es labelled false the claim that Jesús Owono published an apology letter and a notice that he is leaving football. Newtral had called the letter false on 4 November, as a post from an impersonating account. FC Andorra's note of 3 November is a club condolence and does not carry those texts.
