> This outlet documents theories and rumours circulating online. What is described here is not established fact and we do not endorse it: many of these claims are false or lack evidence. Each article states what the evidence says.

**What the evidence says:** Partly true. The Hindu and The Straits Times run one AFP dispatch: The Hindu's byline is AFP, and The Straits Times ends on AFP and credits the photo to EPA. That is a single check. India Today retells the scene, credits the photos to Reuters, and one caption is dated 3 November. IBTimes publishes its own account that day and credits the photo to Getty Images. They agree on the slogan "We will kill Trump", Enghelab Square and a second board with Trump, J.D. Vance, Steve Witkoff and Benjamin Netanyahu. Blood on the faces is in the dispatch and in India Today; IBTimes does not mention it. The line that a deal "could happen" is in the AFP text, attributed to Trump, and India Today attributes it to him too. A detail that appears on only one page stays out.

**Spread by:** The Hindu, The Straits Times, India Today, IBTimes
